East Coast Bakehouse, based in Drogheda County Louth bakes biscuits for the Irish and Export markets. We’ve sourced the finest ingredients including Irish Butter and Irish Oats to create our new range of biscuits, some old favourites that you’ll be familiar with, and some exciting new biscuits that we’ve spent a long time getting right. Our team work hard to live up to our mantra of "Baking better biscuits", we hope you agree!
As a new business, we are committed to ensuring that Origin Green and sustainability is at the heart of how we work.
We source our ingredients only from trusted suppliers, who share our commitment to sustainability. 100% of our butter is sourced from Sustainable Dairy Assurance scheme accredited suppliers and all of our chocolate is from sustainable sources.
We have set ourselves ambitious targets to ensure our food waste is recycled as animal feed, and we're aiming for zero waste by 2020.
We also recognise our responsibility to play our part in the community, our Baker's Dozen Fund donates 1/13th of our profits to local charities.
