Established in 1986, Dansko is a family owned, Irish, dairy commodities business operating in the Golden Vale region, which has a provenance as one of the finest dairy producing regions in the world.
We have a long and established heritage of sourcing and supplying dairy ingredients including cheese, butter and butter fats – in bulk or added-value formats worldwide. Our current export markets include UK, EU, North Africa, South Africa, North America and UAE.

Dansko is a verified member of Origin Green, Irelands food and drink sustainability programme with a BRC higher grade facility working to lean manufacturing principles.
Committed to reducing their production impact: 100% cardboard is recycled, All food waste is collected for recovery at an Anaerobic Digestion plant for Biogas. General waste reduction target of 40% by 2020 reducing at 10% per year. Working with suppliers to use sustainable packaging where applicable.
By fitting 100% LED lighting throughout the plant over a 3 year period.
To invest circa €40,000 into local community & charities from 2016 to 2018. Some key projects are: hosting golf classics with 100% funds going to Down Syndrome Cork, providing funding for the local school to upgrade facilities and contribute to local historical area improvements.
