Sustainable Beef and Lamb
Ireland has a reputation for high-quality beef and lamb. Animals are reared using a grass-based system where growth hormones are prohibited and antibiotics strictly regulated. Farms are accredited to the international standard for product certification ISO 17065.
Horticultural growers, packers and produce handlers become members of Origin Green through Bord Bia’s Sustainable Horticulture Assurance Scheme (SHAS). The aim of SHAS is to provide an internationally recognised quality standard for horticultural producers.
Sustainable Egg Production
Origin Green comprises of over 240 certified members covering 97% of Ireland's egg production. Members include hen rearers, egg producers, and egg packers ensuring quality and sustainability across the entire egg production chain.
