Bord Bia EU Deforestation Regulation Webinar

Deforestation and forest degradation continue at an alarming rate contributing more than 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions. The new EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) is an important turning point in the global fight against deforestation. It will start to apply on 30^th December 2024.

Bord Bia are organising a webinar to inform our member companies on the EUDR, including scope and timelines, and discussing what the business implications of the EUDR are, with a focus on palm oil, coffee, and cocoa sourcing.

Bord Bia will be joined by Efeca. Efeca provide technical support on forest risk commodities to companies and governments. Bord Bia have worked with Efeca for a number of years.

The EUDR (palm oil, coffee, and cocoa focus) webinar will take place online on Tuesday 9^th July at 10am, with the following schedule:

•      Update on the EUDR, including scope and timelines,
•      Business implications of the EUDR, with a focus on palm oil, coffee,         and cocoa,
•      Q&A and next steps.
